The original Sycamore Creek Golf Course was built in 1932 and is located between Riverside Drive and Vickery Blvd. in the near southeast central section of the City. The course, named The Hideout, is conveniently located in the Texas hill country on the shores of Lake Brownwood. The bent grass greens and wide fairways look and play great for early spring. Our championship course, designed by Bill Johnston, is challenging for golfers of all levels. The course features challenging traps, lots of prominent water features and breathtaking views of the hill country and Lake Brownwood. The free iPad Mini you’ll receive as part of your reservation includes an interactive course layout to guide you through each hole and the surrounding area.

Development and investment continues at King’s Point Cove; the final plans for the Marina and boat ramps have been approved, and construction should begin this Spring. We are looking forward to many more boaters and RV-enthusiasts visiting the course and Lake Brownwood. Also, King’s Point Cove has recently submitted plans to construct a new RV resort which, when complete, will have capacity for 150+ full service, tree-shaded, 50-amp pull through spaces.
